Today in the car, Esme and Asa were talking about our trip. We talked about being careful what we pack since we will have to carry everything with us sometimes.

Esme said she just wants to go to one or two places (probably this is because of the last sentence; she’s not excited about carrying all of her own things!). She’s most excited to see Marie and Remy again (students we hosted summer of 2017 and 2018 respectively). She also is a lover of French bread and wants to try real French bread. Let’s not forget Disneyland Paris which is high on her list, too.

Asa wants to take lots of pictures of France and our adventures. The last two years at camp he has taken photography as one of his chosen activities and I’m interested to see what he and the other kids take pictures of on our trip. It’s always interesting to see things from their prospective. He’s also interested in climbing to the top of the Eiffel Tower (or at least touching it) and seeing Remy.
