Even though it was raining this afternoon, we decided to check out the public pool. This time we took the bus.
The cost was 4,50€ for me and less for the kids. I wasn’t expecting much but it was really a nice pool. They had a baby pool, a play pool, and a lap pool.
The baby pool:

The bottom of the pool was perforated sheet metal. I’ve never seen anything like it before. It was actually really nice on the feet. Also it didn’t smell of chlorine so maybe it was saltwater?

The play pool:

The boys had the most fun with the jetted areas. There were also built-in loungers under the water that had holes in them that bubbles came up from. The pools were pretty warm.
The locker room was really nice too. It’s a huge family locker room with private changing areas and free secure lockers. No gender specific sections at all.
We came home and had dinner and I think we are in for the night. We will celebrate Esme’s birthday tonight with ice cream.
