The rain stopped and the kids and I walked to Cal’s new favorite hangout, a board game and animé shop a block away from our Airbnb.

After dinner, the sun was still shining so my mom and I went on a walk to an Amazon locker to pick up an outlet adapter I had ordered.We finally saw one of these storks the city is known for. He was hanging out with a muskrat, a swan, and some other black bird.At this point we were still taking in the scenery and not the ominous sky…

“Ooh! Look! A rainbow!”

Also found a guy feeding carrots to some muskrats. We decided to bring the kids back here another time.We picked up our adapter and then the skies opened up so my mom and I ran home in pouring rain. Tomorrow looks like rain again but you can’t say we don’t make the best of it!
