We bought a 3 day museum /tourist attraction pass. Today we went on the Batorama boat tour.

It includes an audio tour in English and even a kids audio tour in English. It gave us a nice tour of the city and we are going to go visit some of the new places we saw on foot another day. Our next stop using the Pass was the archeology museum. I’ve never seen human bones displayed this way before.

Esme says this is a cell phone holder, lol!

“Ne touchez pas les pierres!” Don’t touch the the stones! I think in the US we usually have signs that explain the rules but the docent was nice enough to to fill us in after we already broke a few.

Above is Rohan Palace. It holds 3 museums. Besides the archeology museum, there were two art museums. Cal and Grandma checked those out later in the afternoon while the rest of us vegged. After lunch, we walked to a bus stop across town.

Riding the bus.
Then we got to another museum included in our Pass: the Pixel Museum, dedicated to video games.
Below is a reproduction of one of the first video games. It was an analog computer hooked up to an oscilloscope. Tennis for Two was built in 1958 and wasn’t sold commercially but was for demonstration purposes only.

It was a pretty big museum. All but one of us was ready to leave after about an hour but we stayed an extra hour so Cal could go through a second time.
