Today with our rented car, we drove to Sélestat to visit La Montagne des Singes (Monkey Mountain). The kids LOVED it! They had tons of North African macaques and no cages. When you come in, they hand you a handful of popcorn to feed to the monkeys. See photo evidence below:

Like a lot of places in France, they are very green. They even had wood disposable silverware.
