Today we packed up our stuff at our Airbnb in Strasbourg (not an easy task after staying there for 10 days). The amount of stuff we brought expanded.

I repacked the girls clothes into the new rolling suitcase and they are carrying less in their bags now. They couldn’t carry their bags for very long the way I had them packed before and my mom and I had to keep carrying their bags as well as ours. This time, they carried them the whole time which helped a lot.
We went for a walk this morning to get some pastries. Esme wanted some more meringue. Asa got an eclair.

We took the tram to the train station and we got there super early but we learned our lesson about cutting it too close.

To and from Strasbourg we took Ouigo which is a budget high speed train. It was actually really nice even though I don’t have much to compare it to. The only limitation is your luggage. You need to pay extra if you have more than a carry-on and a personal item but luckily we don’t.

Our train snacks
When we got to Paris we hopped on the Metro to our Airbnb.

Our new Airbnb is about half the size of our Strasbourg one and the cost is the same. It is also missing some important things like a knife for cutting, a dish rack, a mixing bowl, a dish towel…but we are making do.

The entry to our Airbnb
What’s nice is we are located right above a Franprix which is by far the nicest grocery store we have been in so far. The ones in centre ville Strasbourg were small, crowded and smelled like fish and/or spoiled milk. Our fridge is just a mini fridge so we are just buying what we will need for each meal which is fine since the grocery store is so conveniently located. Tonight we grabbed a premade rotisserie chicken and fresh green beans. We made and ate a quick dinner at the Airbnb.
We had planned to go for a walk right after dinner but we were all pretty travel weary. I think we are in for the night and we will start fresh tomorrow.
Sounds awesome!
