Today, our host Marie lead us to the farmer’s market in Chablis. We got lots of goodies. I’m less cautious about the amount of food we are buying now because with the car, we can take it with us if we don’t eat it all.
We got:

Des bonbons (candy)

Des fruits secs (dried fruit) including kiwi which I had never seen dried before. It is more candied than dried and so yummy.

Accras from some ladies from Guadalupe. These had cod and greens and spices and were delicious. This was my first fried food in weeks.

This local cheese which tastes a bit sharp like cheddar but is soft.

This savory choux pastry with cheese. We chose the “beurre des escargots” flavor which doesn’t have any escargot but rather the sauce of the escargot which is butter, parsley and garlic.

And fruit. I spent $20 on fruit and I’m sure the kids will eat it all today.
We didn’t need any vanilla but the kids liked seeing the whole vanilla beans.

Now we are playing at the house we are staying at. She has lots of toys and the kids have been playing in all of their free time.
