Today Marie showed us how to make easy French bread. The kids helped mix it but I didn’t get any pictures of the process. Here is the result however:

We also tried again with the cookies and had better luck this time. We made brown sugar out of their brown sugar (which is dry) and maple syrup.

I didn’t burn them and they taste great. Nova says, “Just like Grandma K’s!”

The kids and I went on a walk through town to see the motocross course and to see a vineyard up close.

The kids found old vine canes to use as walking sticks.

Then we went to the grocery store to get supplies to make tacos for dinner tonight. I keep seeing this tiny rapids when we drive to the supermarket so we stopped to take a closer look.

Now I’m making dinner which is pico de gallo and tacos. We will have chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
