Today it rained off and on. This meant relaxing at our rented mobile home, doing laundry, shopping and getting time outside between rain showers.The girls and I went to a Super U (grocery store plus some other stuff) and we got them each an outfit with Little Miss on them (from the book series). We see a lot of Little Miss stuff here.

Then we went to GiFi again to look for headphones for Asa. He had dollar store ear buds from home and they were broken.Some other GiFi items we noticed:.

Esme really liked these but settled for a photo rather than buy and have to carry them for another 6 weeks.

We went to the pool after lunch.Then we had a simple dinner of Knack sausages (very similar to American hot dogs) and canned corn. Asa had a big craving for corn on the cob but they don’t eat it like that here. They sell pre-shucked corn cobs in some stores but the ones we saw were in a clear plastic package with liquid that did not look appetizing.After dinner the kids played in the bounce house and I made them go on a walk with me to see the foot bridge over the Ardèche River.

The stone building in the background is the housing for the young people who work at the campground.

There was time for more bounce house before having a snack and heading back to the mobile home. All of the kids brought out their notebooks and are working on ideas for video game stories tonight.
