Today we moved from the guest studio into the main house at Laurence, Yannick and Rémy’s place. After lunch walked around Azey-le-Rideau for about an hour then came home for a swim. It was in the 90s today so walking in the sun was difficult.

We went had our “apéro” or before dinner drink and snack around 8pm after Rémy and Laurence returned home.

Laurence and Yannick took us out to dinner at a French restaurant. The chef uses only fresh ingredients so it has a limited menu with 2 plats du jour. You can chose an appetizer and/or a dessert with your meal as well.

Beet, apple and goat cheese salad. I forgot to take pictures of the main courses!

Rémy took the kids through the streets of Azey-le-Rideau where there was a special night with food vendors.

After we finished our dinner we tried to sneak a peak at the light show at the castle before going home.
