Carving pumpkins last week.

We made our own costumes. These dolls were for Esme and Nova’s costume.

We went to Green Meadows petting farm to play and got to pick a pumpkin on out way out.

Trick-or-treat. Esme and Nova are the “death twins”. Something they invented.

Nole as Luigi, Josh as Mario, Theresa as Peach and me as Daisy.

Cal was a shadow man with a mannequin face, Anakin is the chainsaw murderer, and Asa is Link.

It was raining which was kind of a bummer. Not a lot of trick or treaters outside but the kids still had fun.

And got plenty of candy

We pulled the trailer behind van like we did last year. We rigged up a rain cover which helped a little.

On Tuesday, we went to my work for trick-or-treat. I asked the kids to pick “less scary” costumes for this because some of our residents have dementia and all of the other trick-or-treaters were preschoolers.

On Wednesday we did some Harry Potter themed crafts. We made wands and potions and I did some face paint for the kids.

Now it’s Thursday, October 31st. We got some snow Monday night but it melted pretty quickly. It has been snowing now since about 10pm last night. We are going to one last Halloween party today and the girls hit the costume bin again for different costumes. But first, a little snow play time.
