We started today with parasailing. It was something Asa really wanted to do. Although the girls were old enough to do it, they decided it was too scary. They did enjoy the boat ride however. Cal said he didn’t enjoy parasailing and said he once per lifetime was enough for him. The title is what the boat driver said back to him.

The pictures of us on the parasail aren’t great but I will replace them later with the pictures the parasailing company took–they gave them to me on an SD card so that will have to wait until we are home.
Then we went back to the Airbnb to have lunch and swim in the pool. Also, Cal had a quiz he had take so he logged on to virtual school.

When Cal and I were walking back to the room, he spotted some iguanas sunning themselves.

I had hoped to hit a beach on the ocean today (so far we only were at beaches on the sound, i.e. no waves) but by the time we were ready to go it was after 3pm and with the sunset at 5:30pm it didn’t work out. We decided to do a little shopping instead.

The kids picked out some souvenirs for themselves. We got a few gifts too. The girls both bought gifts for their teachers which is sweet. Esme’s favorite thing was this furry cat. Tomorrow it is going to be warm again but they are expecting weather in the 60s Friday and Saturday so I better get that beach visit in tomorrow!
