We left the Keys today and are staying at a hotel near the airport in Miami today. The sun is shining and the temperature is back into normal Florida range. I guess it was near freezing in Miami yesterday and iguanas were falling from the trees. They’re usually okay once they warm up. We were reminded by the tour guide at the Turtle Hospital earlier this weel that iguanas are not native and are considered pests with no natural predators here.

They have a beautiful pool at our hotel. It’s an Embassy Suites. We have a ton of points on our Hilton card and are Gold members thanks to a credit card I took out before our trip to France. I cancelled a lot of the travel reward cards I got before our France trip but I kept this one and the Southwest card because the benefits are pretty good.

We didn’t do anything exciting today and tomorrow we fly home. Thanks to those that follow along on our trips. Blogging was suggested before our trip to France by my friend Melissa and I’m really glad I’ve kept it up when we travel. During the quarantine, it was fun to look back on our trip to France, especially for Nova because she was so young when we went.
