Asa attended a week-long summer camp with his scout troop this week. I attended as an adult volunteer. Today we pack up and head home but I thought I would post the highlights here.

Asa completed 4 merit badges this week. Wilderness survival, geocaching, citizenship in the nation and game design. He also completed his second class requirements and will rank up at the next ceremony. He completed the three legs of a triathlon and competed with his troop against the other troops in a camp-wide relay and Aquafest.

He also had a lot of fun with other scouts in his troop.
He even made a friend from another troop and got his address so they can be pen-pals. On top of this he only spent $2.50 on one slushie at the trading post–“a scout is thrifty”. I had a great week with Asa and am so proud of him.

We are so proud as well! Way to go, Asa!!!
