Asa has been really active with his Scout troop this year. Our last outdoor camping trip of 2021 was this weekend.

We got here Friday night and set up camp. It was cold at night but I have an electric heating pad that I put in the bottom of my sleeping bag and I was warm enough all night. Asa said he was warm enough too. We had a busy day of fall themed activities with about 150 other girls and boys.

I loved watching the kids play gaga ball and human foosball.

We also got to see a Blackhawk helicopter land. The video is pretty loud–beware!

Asa made an awesome pumpkin at pumpkin carving.

They also chucked pumpkins with sling shots, shot rifles at the rifle range, and made candles.

There was a costume contest and a dance. I was our group’s chaperone for the dance. Another loud video…

We closed out the dance at 11pm and now everyone is tucked into their tents for the night. Weather overnight looks a bit warmer tonight!
