Bang on the drum all day

Today our port was Nassau, Bahamas. We had breakfast at the buffet this morning. It was super crowded and hard to even find a table so we have a different plan for tomorrow.

We got off the ship around 10:30 am. The kids weren’t really excited about going. They wanted to do things on board but we figured we needed to at least put our feet on the soil in the Bahamas. The kids did a little shopping for souvenirs.

Before long we were heading back to the ship. The boys and Nole went to the arcade and a table tennis tournament.

The boys pop in and out all day. They do a lot with the teen programming. Today they played Mario kart, man hunt and dodge ball among other things so we only saw them sporadically.

After lunch and a swim we took an afternoon nap. When we woke up we played a family trivia game. After that, the girls wanted to check out childcare again so they went there for an hour and Nole, Cal and I went to the trampoline.

Tonight was the formal dress night so we all dressed up. We had dinner in the dining room which the kids loved again. We were still in port so we got to watch smaller boats go by including this pirate ship.

Then we checked out some live music and danced.

Nova really likes live music so she and I stayed the longest. When we got back to the room, our attendant had set up some towel monkeys for us.

Then we went to Beatles guess that tune then to Bingo with the girls.

We didn’t win, unfortunately. After that Esme was feeling a little seasick so back to the room she went while Nole, Nova and I listened to some Broadway music.

It was 11pm then and all the kids went back to the room and Nole and I went to a game show.

It was a long active day. Hopefully everyone will feel up for a relaxing day tomorrow.
