We ate breakfast together in the dining room this morning. Dining room service has been pretty slow the last couple of days and this morning was no exception. They seat us right away but the meal ends up taking over 1.5 hours. I started to wonder if they’re trying to keep us there to give us something to do…
All of the breakfast was really tasty though and I’ve been spoiled by fresh squeezed orange juice on this trip.
After breakfast we went to morning trivia. Then it was practically lunch time but we just finished breakfast at 11am so we went to napkin folding instead. It sounds lame but we enjoyed it.

We got lunch from the pizza place after that. The pizza on board is made fresh and crazy delicious. Then we split up. Nole took the girls swimming, to the arcade, and to the art gallery while Cal, Asa and I did the Flow Rider.

Then we went to watch a mini Grease Broadway production.

We played a round of mini-golf after that

When we finished mini golf we noticed the sky was looking pretty dark. When Asa’s hair started standing on end, we decided we better head inside before we got struck by lightning!

At dinner they announced there was a medical situation on board and we would be getting into Cape Canaveral early, around midnight, to get the person to a hospital. The rest of us still won’t disembark until tomorrow morning. They asked for blood donations which I found the logistics of very interesting. I may have to look into what kind of medical facility they have onboard.

After dinner I was really excited to try rock-er-oke which is karaoke with a live band. Unfortunately one of the band members was sick so it was regular karaoke. We decided to go back to the room to pack instead. We finished packing and Nole, Asa and I went back for a game show. It was based on a British gameshow–they show you an animation that describes a common phrase. For example, a bed and the covers are pulled back to show eggs and bacon–“breakfast in bed”. We thought maybe we would go back out and see the late night comedian or check out the 70’s disco party but we decided to tuck in after that. We have a 10 hour drive ahead of us tomorrow, after all.
