Nole and I went to breakfast alone this morning. We brought some food back for the kids, to mixed reception. For the most part our picky eaters have found things they like wherever we eat. No one has starved yet and the girls have tried a few new things on this trip.
Today was our day at Coco Cay which is an island owned and operated by Royal Caribbean. It has lots of beaches, beach chairs and umbrellas, pools and splash pads–all of which is included. Their wifi and drink packages work on the island too so that’s cool. There is a waterpark on the island which is extra. We paid for access for Cal and Asa only. This meant we didn’t see much of them during the day.

We mostly stayed with the girls at harbor beach. It was calm waters and no crowd. Nova who hates the sand and didn’t want to get off the ship today, ended up getting in the water and having a good time though she did like the pool we went to later better. On the beach, the played in the sand, rode the alligator floaty around and made a friend.

The pool on this island is the largest in the Caribbean.

Eventually the boys caught up with us and used the snorkeling gear. Asa said he saw a fish as big as him (fish story??).

We spent a lot of time in the sun today and we all are a bit red. Nole got burnt even though he was wearing and reapplied sunscreen.

We all showered and applied lots of lotion. Pretty soon it was time for our sit down dinner.

It was raining in the distance and Nole noticed a rainbow!

After dinner we listened to some big band music as a family.

Nole and the girls went to the candy store and another live musician while I went with the boys to their teen event at the Flow Rider.

We decided to stay in after that even though it was only about 8:30 pm. I fell asleep shortly after.
