Rain was expected last night and all day today. Thankfully we only got one short rain shower this afternoon because our site floods easily.

We started the day by doing laundry and taking showers. We were just going to do that and hang around the campground but the kids voted to go out for a while. We decided to go to a mall that was just a few minutes away.

The mall had a dollar store. We grabbed tissues for Esme’s runny nose and a couple of other essentials and each got a treat too. Nole got a backpack for $2 to use on his flight to Milwaukee on Sunday.

The mall was a little different that what we were used to. The stores had stuff piled in them, mostly on tables rather than shelves.

The mall had an amusement park in it. We gave the kids enough for one ride each ($5.75 Canadian). Esme and Nova used their money to go into the playland. Cal and Asa got a snack from the food court instead of a ride. I made the mistake of giving the boys a $20 and they spent it all. Doh.

We came back to the camper and played some games like Uno and Exploding Kittens. I have been reading Fablehaven to the girls and we did a chapter of that as well. I made chicken teriyaki with rice for dinner then Cal did the dishes while I swept and cleaned the bathroom. Nole and Asa did one more load of laundry.

Nova wanted a movie night so she picked out “Book of Life”.
