We only had about a 2.5 hour drive from Ottawa to Montreal today. We were kind of undecided whether we would get an early start or a late start so we decided on a medium start and left around 9:30am. Today was my first time hooking up and towing the camper without Nole and it went fine. I had the kids help me. I think it will get easier and easier once all the kids know their jobs. This time it took us about a half hour to leave once we started getting ready. When we got to Montreal, it only took us about 15 minutes to set up. After eating a quick lunch, we hit the pool.

I ran a couple of loads of laundry at the same time and then we took the car to Chinatown.

Before we came today I had searched for some places that sold small plates so we could sample things. Turns out Chinatown is a great place to sample because most places sell inexpensive small portions. The boys really wanted to try this dim sum place so we ate there.

Cal stopped in at a deli that sold roasted duck and roasted pork. He said there were no prices so he just handed the guy a $10 and pointed to what he wanted. He got roast pork and it was absolutely delicious.

We headed back to the campground after that. It’s about 25 minutes outside of the city. It’s a very nice campground with lots of self proclaimed snow birds. We are hearing lots of French or should I say Quebecois. It is a lot like French but there are some differences that make it difficult for me to understand sometimes.
After all the trouble we went through for wifi the last few days, the campground we are at now has free wifi!
Today seems like a good day to give a little tour of our camper so I will post that below. Warning, it’s long and awkward, haha.
