I made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and the kids all went to the playground. I found a deal online for the amusement park for a cheaper admission after 5pm which seemed perfect for us.

Esme usually stays in the slow lane at amusement parks and goes on rides with Nova.

For once, she was TOO TALL to go on most of the kiddie rides. Quite an achievement. But that meant it was bigger rides or nothing.

We were able to talk both girls into the Ferris wheel. They split into pairs and held hands on the way to the ride and when standing in line. Very sweet!

Nova had enough adventure for now but Esme was up for trying The Scrambler.

She loved it and rode it several more times. She also liked the Tilt-A-Whirl. She did not like one of the boys favorites, the Paratrooper. There were a few tears but she got on The Scrambler again and felt better.

Nova and Esme rode the carousel while the boys went on the bigger coaster, Cyclone.

The kids also loved the bumper cars. Cal was great with the girls today. He let Esme drive the bumper cars after her first ride while he worked the pedal that she was too short to reach.

Everyone had a great time! We left at 10 pm (closing time). The fog and the mosquitos rolled in and we rolled out and into our warm beds in the camper.

Looks like everyone had a good time. Congrats to Esme for trying big kid rides. Sbe’s hooked now.
