There are no good songs about New Hampshire

Nole’s plane arrived on time last night after he spent 11 hours in the Detroit airport. The kids were all asleep by the time we got back to the camper (about 11:30pm) but everyone got their hellos and hugs in this morning.

We packed up the camper after breakfast planned to go to the beach which was about 10 minutes from our boon-doctor site (as Nova calls it). Unfortunately, they did not want RVs parking there so we went to another beach. Same problem, only this time the kids had made it all the way to the beach by the time we found out. So we loaded back up and thought we would try yet another beach, this one an hour south. At about that time, we got a message from tonight’s host asking what time we planned to arrived. I asked if we could come drop off our camper before we went to the beach and he said that would be fine. So we rerouted Google Maps to their house.

Then we went toward the beach, stopping for lunch at one of the many restaurants that serves lobster in this area.

I had a Caesar salad with lobster, Nole had fried baby shrimp, Cal had salmon, Asa had lobster bisque, Esme had chicken tenders and Nova had grilled shrimp. A bunch of us had Ray’s root beer brand to drink.

We went to Wallis Sands Beach after lunch which came recommended by our hosts. These hosts are super helpful and go to a lot of trouble for their guests. They have a file box full of helpful information for guests!

Anyway, we got to the beach and it was a little busy. Today was a warm and beautifully sunny day so lots of people had the same idea as us!

The boys spent a lot of time digging deep holes and then burying their legs in the hole.

We got back to the camper around 5:30 and finished setting up. It was also time to clean out the car (wrappers, empty bottles, etc). Nole made dinner for the kids. Thanks to a collaboration between Grandma K and Nole, Asa and Nova were able to have their favorite tonight, Mrs. Grass!

We talked about going somewhere to get wifi tonight but our hosts graciously allowed us to use theirs. Now the plan is to have a quiet night in.
