We had a peaceful night but road crews redoing parts of the street to the campground started work at 7:30am waking us up. We washed dishes and refilled our water jugs at the river.

We stopped at Walmart for a couple of things we needed then went to Book Barn, a HUGE used bookstore. They have more than a half a million books here! They also have goats to feed and resident cats.

We bought waaay too many books, especially considering how space in the camper is at a premium.

We stopped at the place next door for lunch which was a Greek and Italian place with something for everyone.

We are heading back to the data dead-zone campground so I figured I would make a quick post for today and then post the rest of today on tomorrow’s post when we are back in civilization.
