Mary had been feeling a little under the weather but she emerged from her room today mostly recovered. All 8 kids started the day by playing 1, 2 Switch. Then Melissa and I worked for a while. I made boba for the kids using a kit that Melissa and I got at Costco yesterday.

Boba drinking devolved into Asa and Joey having a boba fight outside, using their straws to shoot tapioca bobas at each other.

Mary and Cal played video games together and I went to take a nice vacation nap. When I woke up, 2 hrs later, Mary and Cal were in the same exact spot they were in when I left only with Squishmallows now. I guess I didn’t miss much. Melissa was still working on the office but almost done for the day.

Asa and Joey played some saxophone. And Nova and Katy had some down time on their devices.

Melissa and I did some menu planning for our summer trip. She had some books from the library.

Cal and Mary went for groceries and to Panera for dinner. But first, Cal had to drive down the steep driveway.

They made it home from their errands safely but Cal says the roads in Ohio are more narrow than in Wisconsin. The jury is still out on that one. Meanwhile, Melissa and I took the rest of the kids to the local aquatic center. They swam until 9pm.

Most of the kids had a movie night and some of us played a new board game.
