Moab, Utah
We didn’t have any plans for today. It has been windy off and on during our stay here and when it is over 20mph, we take the awning down. The only problem is then we have no shade on the site. We do have air conditioning but it’s tough for everyone to sit in the camper all day.
Today I had the idea to go to a pool. I found a local aquatic center and took some of the kids there to play for a few hours this afternoon.
On the way to the pool, two of the kids were taking turns light-heartedly exchanging insults and fake insults (“you are a wet egg”) in German which I was able to participate in. The above quote is from me.

Melissa got in some work hours (Monday is a big meeting day). We also had cleaning, organizing and packing to do because both families leave the site tomorrow morning. We will really miss the company and how traveling with friends really enriches the trip for us.
We ate all the things for dinner. All kinds of leftovers and other items we needed to clear out. Then we ate all the things again for dessert when we brought out s’mores supplies for the third day in a row and the last of the ice cream.

I pointed out stars we learned about at last night’s program. We wanted to see the Milky Way again but it was too bright tonight. Your best bet to see it is when the moon isn’t very full. Wispy clouds and wind blew in from the south then and it got warmer (it has finally cooled off after a 90+ degree day today).
We had one last sleepover tonight with Esme and Lily in the rooftop tent on the Yatzeck van and the rest of the kids in the camper. There were already some tears tonight because friends will be missed on the rest of the trip.
