This morning I braided Ruby’s hair before school.

Then we walked her to school at 7:40 am. Jasper rode his bike so we just waved as he passed us.

We unpacked and repacked suitcases to try and make sure all were within the weight restriction and safely packed. We found some dino egg dig kits that the kids got as a kids meal prize in Passau so to save room, we had them open them up. They had a little plastic dinosaur inside.

We went to Müller and some other stores to get some last minute things we wanted to buy including two new board games.

I got a bunch of candy to take home too. We picked up two rotisserie chickens and when the kids came home from school, we had that for lunch. Their school day ends at 12:30pm. Ruby and Jasper did homework with some help from Nova and Grandma Kay and the kids played statue-maker on the trampoline.

We went to the local pool and stayed there until almost dinner time. Then the kids played Yatzee and Candace made bolognese sauce and we had dinner with the kids sitting at the dining room table and the adults eating on the back patio. The kids were really cute having their own dinner party. They played some more statue-maker before it was time for bed. This was our last full day in Germany – tomorrow we leave for home.
