They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway

I forgot to add these last few photos of our ferry ride back to New Jersey and our walk back to the campground to the last post.

We were all pretty pooped at this point.  Some of us fell asleep in the theater during the 30 minute film at Ellis Island.  Some of us fell asleep back at the camper after eating our first meal of the day at 4pm.  By 5 it was time to go to our first Broadway show of the trip.  Nole and I each won a chance to buy discounted tickets to Book of Mormon so we took Cal and Asa with us.

Nole and I had floor seats.  This was our view of the stage.

Our tickets would have normally cost $132 a piece but we paid $49 a piece.

Cal and Asa had box seats with a partial obstructed view.  Their seats aren’t available for sale, probably because of the partial obstructed view.

The show was fun.  Right before it started, Nole won a chance to buy discounted tickets to Six, a musical that Nova wants to see so we bought those.

After the show ended, I wanted to go to Times Square since we were so close.  Cal and Asa weren’t sure about it.  They planned to do Times Square with Joey.  In the end, we decided they could do it again with Joey and it wouldn’t be spoiled too badly.

Cal noticed one of his favorite food chains, Cain’s, had a store in Times Square.

This restaurant was pretty crazy.  It was 10 pm on a Sunday night and they had a live DJ!

Asa picked out a sweatshirt at a tourist shop.  I kind of wanted to stay in Times Square for the Midnight Moment which is an art display/show but was vetoed.  On the way to the subway, we saw Doc Brown and the DeLorean!

We got back to the camper at about 11:30pm and just about collapsed into bed.
