Galaxycon Columbus 2025

December 5-7, 2025

After a year of attending fan conventions, the girls and I decided to attend Galaxycon Columbus again.  Columbus is about 7-8 hours away so we left super early.  We stopped at McDonald’s for breakfast and Culver’s for lunch on the way. 

We also stopped to buy some fudge.  Uranus has expanded from Missouri (where we first visited) and now has 2 stores in Indiana.

This year featured 4 of the Cullen clan from twilight.  We even got our picture taken with Peter Facinelli.  Besides appearing in Twilight, he was also in Nurse Jackie, Can’t Hardly Wait and many other movies and shows.

K Pop Demon Hunters was popular at the con this year and we attended a sing-along and a dance party.

We wore a variety of costumes.

I brought back the Little Caesar costume.  This was actually one of Asa’s costumes from when he was about 12. 
We met a voice actor from Hazbin Hotel.  Turns out she was also the original Broadway actress for Cady Heron in Mean Girls The Musical (which I listen to at least weekly!).
I watched a panel with Kerr Smith who played Jack in Dawson’s Creek.

We had a great time but I think this will be our last convention that’s this far away for a while.  We won a free ticket to Anime MKE at Nostalgia Con so that’s next on the docket. 

On Sunday, we stopped at Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Memorial where we met up with Katy (and Melissa and Joe) and earned a Junior Ranger badge before driving home.
